French Home Shop hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Mountain. Orders received Monday through Saturday are processed immediately. Orders received on Sunday are processed the next business day, on Monday.

Shipping

All shipping is free to customers with shipping addresses in contiguous USA. “Contiguous USA” is the 48 states of the mainland and the District of Columbia. We do not ship to addresses in Hawaii and Alaska at this time.

Shipping time for products from USA producers is generally four to seven (4-7) business days after order processing time. These products are primarily handmade; each product description page indicates the processing lead time for handmade to order items, usually seven (7) to 17 days, depending on complexity.

Shipping time for products shipped from European producers is generally seven (7) to 14 days after order processing time. These products are primarily handmade; each product description page indicates the processing lead time for handmade to order items from Europe, generally 7-14 days, depending on complexity and the size of the order.

Any significant exception to these estimated shipping times is noted on the individual product page.


Returns & Refunds

Our Returns and Refunds Policy varies across suppliers; as a result, the policy for each product is noted on each individual product page.


    • Makers of handcrafted or hand-carved products generally permit return requests up to 15 days after the date of order delivery. Some may not accept returns, and this exception is noted on the individual product page. In cases where returns are permitted, we are unable to offer a full refund or exchange after the return request period has expired.

    • Many suppliers will accept return requests for refund or exchange consideration up to 30 days after the date of order delivery. In those cases, if more than 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer you a full refund or exchange.

    • Prior to purchase, please note the information provided about returns and refunds for each individual product on the product page.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Purchase of sale items cannot be refunded.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

To request a return, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will provide further information about how to proceed.

Certain conditions may result in only a partial refund, including:


    • Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

    • Any item that is returned after the stated number of days in the product policy description

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will then be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a few days.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the product is damaged or defective (please see below for more information). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your method of payment account again.

Next, contact your credit card company, as some time may be required for your refund to officially post.

Next, contact your bank. Some processing time is often required at their point before a refund is posted.

Defective/Damaged Product Replacement

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at [email protected], and we will arrange for a replacement item to be shipped to you. We will provide instructions about how and where to return your item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
