This traditional Kiondo/Kikuyu Crossbody Tote Bag from French Home Shop is entirely handcrafted by African artisans from locally sourced and handwoven Sisal and Leather. The interior is fully lined with cotton fabric and an inside pocket. Kiondo Bags are increasingly sought as better access to business channels by artisan crafters makes them more widely known and available.
(A “Kiondo” is a handwoven handbag made from sisal with leather trimmings. It is indigenous to the Kikuyu and Kamba tribes of Kenya.)

- 100% Natural Sisal Fiber (body of Bag) with zipper closure at top
- 100% Natural Leather straps

Care:
- This Sisal Bag is not afraid of a little water, but do not soak it.
- Clean with a damp cloth or quickly rinse with water, but do not scrub the surface
- Do not machine wash, spin dry or tumble dry
- Allow to dry completely in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight
