Art Glass 7.5″ Damask Bowls in a Set of 4 from French Home Shop are artisan handcrafted in USA using spun glass layered with silver or gold leaf and organic pigment paint. Only food safe materials are used in the creation of these beautiful bowls – use for appetizers, salad, desserts and more. The bowls are also stunning home decor display pieces.
The classic Damask design is inspired by master weavers of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul – a style of weaving that creates reversible patterns on fabric. Hand-applied patina paint and gilded metal on each glass bowl is cured to ensure resistance to usage and heat. All steps in the process require up to a total of three hours to complete.
