Art Glass 6.5″ Damask Canapé Plate from French Home Shop is artisan handcrafted in USA using spun glass layered with organic pigment paint. Only food safe materials are used in the creation of this beautiful plate – for appetizers, desserts and more. The plate is sold individually and is also a stunning home decor display piece.
The classic Damask design is inspired by master weavers of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul – a style of weaving that creates reversible patterns on fabric. Hand-applied patina paint on each glass plate is cured to ensure resistance to usage and heat. All steps in the process require up to a total of three hours to complete.
